The Gislaved Tyre family:

High quality, reliability and innovation characterize Swedish tradition. It’s with this heritage that Gislaved has built its solid reputation for quality products. Covering compact to high performance passenger tyres to van tyres, the Gislaved brand offers safe, strong and reliable tyres for all weather conditions whether it is summer or extreme winter.

The Gislaved history goes back to 1893 when the two brothers Carl and Wilhelm Gislow began manufacturing rubber products inily: the small town of Gislaved in Sweden. The real tyre production started in 1905 when the company started producing bicycle tyres as well as the first Swedish car tyres. Since the first Volvo left the plant in 1927 in Gothenburg, the company has been fitting Gislaved tyres to its cars as standard. In 1992 Gislaved became part of Continental AG, Europe's second-largest tyre group, thereby gaining access to truly impressive resources for developing, testing and manufacturing tyres.

For many years the winter tyres of the Gislaved brand have been used as a reference for winter performance assessments, year after year they serve as benchmark for safe driving in northern winters.

The Gislaved brand offers a comprehensive range of products for winter driving; from Nordic studdable and soft compound tyres to typical Central European winter tyres, all products offer excellent performance that guarantee the optimal grip on snow and ice as well as ensuring safe driving on wet and dry roads.

Along with the superb winter products, Gislaved offers a wide range of summer tyres that are developed with the same attention to detail. These tyres always ensure safety, robustness and comfort under all driving conditions.
